Look! I’m alive! Yeah…I know I disappeared. Long story filled with a lot of drama. Restraining order for false domestic violence charges filed on me, police removing me from my home and everything ending in a U-Haul as of yesterday. I did not know that you can’t restrain someone from driving while pilled up on 3 different kinds of medications with a waist-lock if they refuse to turn over the keys. I thought I was doing the right thing, but apparently, this is “abuse”. I paid the price for it and almost lost my house.
You can read some below, or more on the link included in it. My life literally turned into a fucking movie, a movie I’d write it if I didn’t have to relive it by doing so. Maybe someday. I AM in school for writing scripts, film and games, which has been kicking my ass with trying to keep up. I don’t think I realized how hard going back to university is when you’re an adult and trying to hold down a house and work at the same time. I keep telling myself, “Just two more years…and you can see your friends again.” If they are truly good friends, they’ll sit patiently by, no matter how much I am not there for them right now and wait. Right?
In the meantime, there have been other good things going on. My site has desperately needed an overhaul for ages and we are in the process of doing just that.(*Angels singing hallelujah*) However, we ran into some glitches along the start process, most notably breaking the sign up link for about a month. Just got it fixed last night.

Latest Update on GFM: I realize I haven't updated in a while. That's because I didn't really know what to say. I came back home...and everything was a mess. Not literally (other than some dead plants/garden), but figuratively. Life was to be very different. Needless to say, everything I knew was done and over. It was too hard to talk about, so I didn't. Plus, keeping some semblance of peace and dealing with less stress has been important for both of us and our health issues.
The buyout is happening this week, with me buying him out, and then Chris is moving back to Michigan over the weekend.
Meanwhile, I am honestly at a loss as how to handle the costs of place alone and stay in school. We only bought this house a year ago. For those who don't know everything we've been through since getting here, it started with a contractor rip-off. Then, pets dying, me diagnosed with Lupus, a crazy stalker neighbor, HOA harassment, his head injury resulting in brain damage, and then the grand finish was a false domestic violence charge and temporary restraining order filed against me for 30 days while I was escorted from my home by police. There were a lot of cracks and fissures in the foundation of our relationship before it fell completely apart.
So. What's next? I don't know. A roommate? A lot, lot, lot of work? Trying to stay in school? Doing my best not to be very angry about how f'kd up all of this is and sad? Never, ever dating again? Maybe all of the above. I don’t know how I feel right now. Gutted, mostly.
I know everything happens for a reason, and that reason is often unclear for a very long time. I just wish I felt like I hadn't taken such a beating to get to that eventual reason.
